PPHI Sindh organizes training for MNCH Coordinators


PPHI Sindh organized a two-day training on Helping Babies Breathe (HBB), Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) and Infection Prevention Control (IPC) for all PPHI Sindh's MNCH Coordinators on 29-30 January 2020 at Marvi Garden, Hyderabad. A total of 19 participants attended this training.

During the first day of training, a refresher training on HBB and KMC was conducted where participants were explained about HBB and KMC standard practices through videos and presentations. Moreover, Participants also did OSCE and signed off based on HBB Skills performances.

On second day, participants were introduced to IPC techniques including when and how to perform handwashing skills, useopf personal protective equipment, etc.

PPHI Sindh has also planned a detail IPC training soon. Later on, these trainings will be further trickled down at district and health facility levels.
