Dr. Sajid Shafique

Dr. Sajid Shafique, a medical graduate (MBBS) from Chandka Medical College, has been associated with PPHI Sindh since 2016. He has 11 years of experience in the field of health and development sectors. Dr. Shafique has an elaborated experience in government funded nutrition programs. He has previously worked with both national and international organisations such as Nutrition Support Program, The Johanniter International, Save the Children and International Medical Corps. Dr. Sahafique has diversified working experience in Nutrition Sector covering Nutrition Specific and Nutrition Specific approaches. His working experience covers from District level up to Country level.
Mr. Asadullah Dahri
Mr. Asadullah Dahri, Provincial Engineer at PPHI Sindh, has a B.E. in Civil Engineering and a professional experience of 25 years in project management, planning and scheduling high-end projects, possessing allied exposure in quality assurance and control and site supervision.
Mr. Dahri has served as National Project Director at National Fertilizer Corporation of Pakistan (PVT) LTD, Ministry of Industries & Production, Government of Pakistan. He has also served at international posts such QA/Planning Engineer, Senior Planning Engineer and Project Planning & Control Engineer mostly in Saudi Arabia at companies like Dorsch International Consultants, Assad Said for Contracting Co. Ltd. and Arabian company & Sasakura for Water & Power, respectively. Earlier, Mr. Dahri has also served in Departments of Agriculture and Irrigation & Power, Government of Sindh.
Mr. Mazhar Veesar

Mr. Mazhar Veesar is a management professional with more than seventeen years multi sectorial experience in Public and Private Organizations. He has done his Masters in Public Administration from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. He has served in Health, Micro Finance and Media industry at different administrative and management positions.
Mr. Veesar is serving in PPHI Sindh as Regional Director, Sukkur, on deputation. He is an employee of Associated Press of Pakistan (AAP). He had previously served as Regional Director for PPHI Sindh’s Larkana region.
Previously, he has worked for Asian Human Rights Development Organization (AHRDO)’s health related project, served in Badin, Sindh, UPAP-NRSP, The First Micro Finance Bank Limited and APP in Planning & development, Admin & Personnel, Marketing, Business and Recovery.
He also had background as consultant/trainer/resource person in Asian Development Bank (ADB), STI, PPMI, PMI, NCRD etc. He also writes in national daily newspapers on various topics/issues regularly.
Mr. Muhammad Afzal Kolachi
Regional Director - Larkana
Mr. Muhammad Afzal Kolachi is a civil servant and belongs to 38th Common Training Programme (CSS-2009). He has done his M.Phil in Governance & Public Policy from National Defence University, Islamabad. He has also done MBA (Marketing) from University of Sindh Jamshoro. He has served at different positions in M/o Information & Broadcasting as Assistant Director, Deputy Director and Controller (Finance) and Company Secretary in Shalimar Recording & Broadcasting Company, Islamabad. Before joining government service, he had also served in National Bank of Pakistan as Management Trainee officer (MTO), OG-II in Sukkur region.
Mr. Kolachi joined PPHI Sindh in 2017 on deputation basis and has served PPHI Sindh as District Manager Sukkur, Khairpur and Ghotki. He was promoted to the rank of Regional Director, Larkano in January, 2021.
Mr. Sandeep Kumar

Mr. Sandeep Kumar, is an experienced Audit and finance professional with an excellent academic track record. He has solid skills of Internal Audit in financial and governmental sector with over 9 years of experience in Pakistan and UAE. He has done masters in economics and holds membership of ACCA , PIPFA and Institute of Forensic Accountants of Pakistan
Mr. Kumar has been serving PPHI Sindh since 2015 in different roles within Internal Audit department. Previously, he had worked with many international organizations (from the platform of Ernst & Young, Ford Rhodes Siddat Hyder). His expertise in the field are business review and analysis, tax planning and filings, settlement negotiations, audit, project management, corporate compliance, final accounts and financial statement. In addition, Mr. Kumar is good at networking socially and professionally.
Dr. Tariq Aziz
Dr. Tariq Aziz, is a Clinical Pathologist and currently holds the position of Chief Pathologist at PPHI, Sindh. Dr. Aziz has 23 years of experience of working with national and international organizations in the field of Pathology. He has worked independently to develop and execute clinical laboratories in four districts of Sindh. His main field of interest is Hematology and Immunohematology.
Dr. Aziz is a medical doctor by profession with Pathology background. He completed his graduation in medicine (M.B.B.S) in 1994. He had completed his training in Pathology in 1998 from Department of Pathology, Dr. Ziauddin University Hospital Karachi. Later on, he did his postgraduation in Clinical Pathology from College of Physicians & Surgeons, and had also completed his M-Phil (Clinical Microbiology and Immunology) from Dadabhoy Institute, Karachi.

Dr. Ayaz Ahmed Baloch, is working as Deputy Director (Training & Capacity Building) at Research & Training Wing, PPHI Sindh, since 2018. Dr. Ayaz holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from ELAM (Latin American School of Medicine) Cuba. He is also a European Erasmus Scholar of double master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) from University of Granada in Spain and French School of Public Health (EHESP) in France. He specialized in Epidemiology and Bio-Statistics in his second MPH degree. Earlier, he has worked with Aga Khan University in its Pediatric Research Office as Research Specialist. At AKU, he was assigned the tasks of survey implementation in province Sindh and country wise trainings of National Nutritional Survey 2018.
Dr. Ayaz has also worked with Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) regional office for the Americas in Washington DC in its Knowledge Management, Bioethics and Research (KBR) department. At WHO, he developed the framework for evaluating the performance of multinational research collaboration in the context of Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC).

Mr. Atif Khan, has over 14 years of experience in delivering a wide range of Information Systems projects. His experience includes enterprise systems for health care industry, web based products for Internet businesses, modernization of legacy systems and public sector solutions for local and international companies.
During his career, he worked on prioritizing IT initiatives, application processing services, e-business development, evaluating vendor proposals, corporate systems and managing entire IT & IS Operations and also led projects that resulted in increased revenues, reduced costs, and salvaged customer relationships.
Mr. Khan holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from SZABIST and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from FAST. He is currently enrolled in Executive MBA from Institute of Business Management.
He also has more than 10 years of teaching experience in different universities and institutions as a visiting faculty, including FAST and Bahria University. His training in PMP (Project Management Professional) and SCM (Software Configuration Management) further bolsters his qualifications.

Mr. Masood Jamali is highly educated, experienced and highly skilled Finance Professional. He did his MBA from Sindh University, MS Finance from Karachi Institute of Economics and Technology, Oracle 9i Developer from Oracle University, USA, and SAP Material Management & Procurement from Virtual Matrix Synergies, Karachi. He has been associated with PPHI Sindh since May 2016. He has 19 years of experience in the field of Finance, Inventory Management and ERP sectors. Mr. Jamali has experience of working at the highest level in government and private sectors. He has previously worked as Director Finance and Revenue Collection in PTCL, Inventory Manager and also implemented ERP in PTCL. He has also worked as Deputy Director at one of the most prestigious professional educational Institute of Cost and Management Accounts of Pakistan (ICMAP) and as Assistant Director – Treasury at National Savings, Pakistan.
Mr. Jamali is highly skilled in oracle and SAP and is a position holder in MS Finance. He had scored a PhD scholarship award by ministry of education (Cultural Exchange Scholarship) and a 1st Position in Federal Public Services Commissions of Pakistan for department exam of Assistant Director, Ministry of Finance, Government of Pakistan.
Dr. Sameeullah Odho

Dr. Sameeullah Odho graduated from Chandka Medical College and did his MS in Public Health from Jinnah Sindh Medical Postgraduate University Karachi in 2018. He is a Medical Officer at Government of Sindh and is attached with PPHI Sindh since 2013. He is also the focal person for Malaria, HIV and Hepatitis in PPHI Sindh. He served as Medical Officer, Head Quarter PPHI for two years at Jacobabad before his current posting at Head Office in 2016. Furthermore, Dr. Odho’s work experience also covers clinical approaches, ophthalmology, communicable diseases and health insurance.
Before joining PPHI Sindh, Dr. Odho has worked in Ophthalmology at Ziauddin University Hospital, Karachi. He has also worked at international organisations such as Save the Children as their Medical Officer for Measles Program launched at District Jacobabad.
