Strengthening Nutrition Care Through Innovation and Collaboration


PPHI Sindh's Assistant District Manager Sukkur, Mr. Naimatullah represented PPHI Sindh at an event on Nutrition Care Synergies: Experience Sharing and Innovations Showcase that was held at Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, on 25-26 September 2024. Mr. Naimatullah highlighted PPHI’s achievements in nutrition interventions, including the Nutrition Information Management System (NIMS), which enabled improved data tracking and service delivery across Sindh. The event, attended by key stakeholders such as the European Union, WHO, UNICEF's AAP Task Force, and Rescue 1122, was an opportunity to share strategies and innovations in nutrition care. A notable moment was the International Rescue Committee (IRC) handing over android tablets to PPHI’s Sukkur nutrition team, enhancing data management and reporting capabilities. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in improving nutrition services through technology and strengthened partnerships.
