USAID Mission Visit to RHC Bhan Saeedabad and BHU Talti – Jamshoro District
A USAID Mission, accompanied by the WFP Provincial Officer, visited Rural Health Center (RHC) Bhan Saeedabad and Basic Health Unit (BHU) Talti in Jamshoro District. The purpose of the visit was to review the healthcare services being delivered at these facilities and to discuss the implementation of key health projects. At RHC Bhan Saeedabad, the USAID team, led by Mr. Abdul Rehman, held a meeting with the District Manager, Administrator of RHC Bhan Saeedabad, and District Nutrition Coordinator (DNC). The PPHI Sindh team provided a detailed briefing on the healthcare services offered at the facilities, showcasing their efforts in improving healthcare delivery. During the visit, Mr. Abdul Rehman toured the facility, observing the various service points and expressed his appreciation for the dedication and quality of services provided by PPHI Sindh. He also conducted a brief interview with the caretakers of children suffering from Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) who were receiving treatment in Outpatient Therapeutic Programs (OTPs). The USAID Mission also emphasized the need for timely implementation of the Targeted Supplementary Feeding (TSF) Project and directed the WFP Provincial Head to ensure the swift supply of related commodities to strengthen the ongoing health initiatives.
