Strengthening Public Healthcare Infrastructure in Rural Sindh


We are pleased to share that the Honourable Minister for Health & Population Welfare Department, Government of Sindh, Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho, has inaugurated the newly established Operation Theater (OT) Block at Rural Health Centre (RHC) Bhit Shah, District Matiari.

During the event, Chief Executive Officer of PPHI Sindh, Mr. Javed Ali Jagirani, presented a comprehensive briefing on the OT Block's modern surgical infrastructure and enhanced capacity to serve local communities.

The successful implementation of this project was facilitated through seamless coordination between regional and district healthcare leadership, including RD PPHI Hyderabad Mr. Moula Bux Solangi, DM Matiari Mr. Ali Afzal Wassan, DHO Matiari Dr. Zahid Saddar, and civil society partners.

This milestone reinforces PPHI Sindh's ongoing efforts to decentralize specialized medical services and ensure equitable healthcare access across the province.
