European Union (EU) conducted a visit to the PPHI FC DHQ Tando Allahyar
A delegation from the European Union (EU) conducted a visit to the PPHI FC DHQ Tando Allahyar. The mission included Madam Salma from WFP, WFP Focal Person Mr. Imdad, Regional Director PPHI Mr. Mola Bux Solangi, RO-I District Manager Mr. Abdul Ahad, District Project Officer Mr. Shaban Qureshi, M&E Officer Mr. Zaheer Hussain, DHO Tando Allahyar Dr. Bharoo Mal, ADC-II Ms. Warda Arbab, DDHO Dr. Zulfiqar, DDHO Dr. Babar Memon, EPI Focal Person Dr. Zulfiqar, and MS DHQ TAY Dr. Marium Rukhsana.
During the visit, the EU delegation reviewed the overall functioning and service delivery of the facility, and interacted with both FC staff and beneficiaries. The delegation inquired about the utilization of SNF and the nutrition outcomes observed among the enrolled children.
The team also visited the storeroom and the Early Childhood Development (ECD) Corner, where they were briefed on how age-appropriate play-based learning materials and stimulation activities support the cognitive, emotional, and physical development of young children alongside nutrition services. The delegation also received detailed information on Mamta, Wawamum, and RUTF, including their nutritional composition and benefits.
The EU delegation expressed satisfaction with the quality of services, appreciated the efforts of the FC team, and acknowledged the coordinated support of all stakeholders. At the conclusion of the visit, the Regional Director, Mr. Mola Bux Solangi, personally escorted the delegation to the gate as a gesture of respect and gratitude. The visit remained very much interactive and productive.
