CEO PPHI Sindh Conducts Extensive Visit Across Mirpurkhas Region, Inaugurates New Health Facilities


In a significant step toward enhancing healthcare access in remote areas, Mr. Javed Ali Jagirani, CEO of PPHI Sindh recently conducted an extensive visit to 20 health facilities across the Mirpurkhas region. The visit covered key facilities in the districts of Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, Tharparkar, and Badin, underscoring PPHI’s commitment to delivering quality healthcare services at the community level. Visited Health Facilities: The CEO visited a range of facilities, including Basic Health Units (BHUs), Rural Health Centers (RHCs), and Nutrition Stabilization Centers (NSCs). Notable stops included: BHU Plus Khaan (MPK-A) BHU Plus Rana Jageer, BHU Dumburo (Umerkot) NSC Chachro, RHC Islamkot, BHU Plus Mubarak Rind, Dano Dhandhal (Tharparkar) DCD Sangi Farho, Mevo Khan Laghari, DO Medicines Warehouse, GD Plus Luari Sharif (Badin-A) Facility Inaugurations: The CEO inaugurated several newly upgraded health facilities to further bolster healthcare infrastructure: BHU Abdul Hakeem Aarisar, RHC Khokhrapar (Umerkot) RHC Kheensar, BHU Plus Herar Deeda (Tharparkar) GD Roshanabad (Mirpurkhas-B) GD Meena, BHU Haji Muhammad Bohar, BHU Plus Junna (Badin) Community Interaction and Feedback: During the visit, the CEO engaged directly with local community members to gather feedback and understand the challenges they face in accessing healthcare services. The community expressed gratitude for the services provided by PPHI and shared their positive experiences. The CEO reaffirmed PPHI’s commitment to ensuring accessible, quality healthcare at their doorsteps. Recognition of Female Paramedic Staff: In recognition of their dedication and invaluable contributions, the CEO also presented appreciation certificates and gifts to hardworking female paramedic staff. This gesture was aimed at acknowledging their pivotal role in delivering essential health services in remote areas. Quality Improvement and Observations: Additionally, the CEO shared valuable insights and practical suggestions to further enhance service delivery standards. Director Health Services (DHS-I) also identified areas for improvement, with immediate steps planned to address and rectify any issues, ensuring continued excellence in healthcare provision.
