A two-day capacity-building workshop for Regional Directors and District Managers
A two-day capacity-building workshop for Regional Directors and District Managers commenced today under the chairmanship of the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Javed Ali Jagirani, and the Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Riaz Hussain Rahoojo. The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. In his opening remarks, the CEO, Mr. Javed Ali Jagirani, emphasized the importance of effective time management and highlighted the prevalence of malnutrition in Sindh. Following this, Dr. Zeeshan, Project Director of the Benazir Nashonuma Programme (BNP), formally inaugurated the technical sessions by introducing the objectives and scope of the BNP. He actively engaged the participants through the Menti application, posing various questions related to the programme to assess understanding and encourage interaction. Dr. Zeeshan also underscored key malnutrition interventions and elaborated on the significance of BNP activities and operational mechanisms. Subsequently, Dr. Sajid Shafique, Director Nutrition Wing, highlighted existing gaps within the nutrition programme and ensured active audience participation during his presentation. The session concluded with a comprehensive question-and-answer segment, allowing participants to seek clarifications and share insights.
