PPHI Sindh, AKU Partner to Initiate Multi-Sector Health Research Under New MoU
Multiple Research Studies Initiated Under a Single Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Tando Allahyar
PPHI Sindh is pleased to announce that the Research and Learning Agenda (RLA) workshop, organized by Aga Khan University in Tando Allahyar district, has culminated in a meaningful and productive research collaboration between the two organizations through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The MoU was formally signed by Mr. Javed Ali Jagirani (CEO, PPHI Sindh) and Dr. Sameen Siddiqui (Professor, AKU). The ceremony was attended by Dr. Zahid Memon (Associate Professor, AKU), Dr. Shifa Habib (Assistant Professor, AKU), Dr. Zakir Ali (Director Health Services I, PPHI Sindh) and Ms. Nelofer Baig (Deputy Director Research, PPHI Sindh).
Under this MoU, several collaborative research studies focusing on maternal and child health, mental health, and non-communicable disease such as Diabetes and Hypertension will be initiated. This partnership is expected not only to strengthen the research portfolio of PPHI Sindh but also to significantly contribute to generating high-quality evidence that will inform policy, enhance service delivery, and support evidence-based decision-making for improved health outcomes across Sindh.
