The study aims to assess the effectiveness of antenatal corticosteroids (ACS) in improving survival rates and health outcomes among preterm newborns-an essential step in reducing neonatal mortality.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Javed Ali Jagirani (CEO, PPHI Sindh) and Mr. Ali Turab (Director, PHC Global). The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Ayesha De Costa (WHO Geneva Office), Ms. Nelofer Baig (Deputy Director Research, PPHI Sindh), Dr. Zakir Ali (Director Health Services I, PPHI Sindh), Mr. Shaukat Ali Lakho (Director 1000 Days Program, PPHI Sindh), Mr. Alfur Rehman (Health Services Academy, Islamabad), and Ms. Tehmeena Hassan (PHC Global).

This collaborative research reflects PPHI Sindh's leadership and commitment to improving maternal and child health through evidence-based practices, as well as strengthening the training and capacity of healthcare providers to improve outcomes for preterm newborns.
