A delegation of the United States Government (USG) Mission visited the PPHI Karachi office
A delegation of the United States Government (USG) Mission visited the PPHI Karachi office and held a meeting with the PPHI leadership team as part of its Sindh visit from February 9-13, 2026. The meeting focused on detailed discussions regarding priority technical areas including disease surveillance and response systems, global health security, immunization, health information systems, and data requirements in the context of the proposed Health Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the USG and the Government of Pakistan. The USG delegation was represented by Dr. Shabir Ahmed Chandio, Senior Project Management Specialist, Foreign Assistance - Health, and Dr. Ismail Virk, who engaged with the PPHI team on strengthening collaboration and advancing shared health objectives.
