PPHI Sindh signs MOU with PILL, GoS & PILL


PPHI Sindh, in collaboration with the Department of Health, Government of Sindh, and the Pakistan Institute of Living and Learning (PILL), has proudly become a key partner in launching the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Pakistan (IAPT-PK) program. This landmark initiative, officially inaugurated on June 3, 2025, marks a major step in integrating evidence-based mental health services into primary and community healthcare. As part of the pilot phase, PPHI Sindh will operationalize the program at three demonstration sites across Sukkur, Larkana, and Kamber Shahdadkot, bringing much-needed psychological care for conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and more to underserved communities. During the signing ceremony, CEO PPHI Sindh, Mr. Javed Ali Jagirani, joined Health Minister Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho, Secretary Health Sindh Mr. Rehan Iqbal Baloch, and leadership from PILL to mark this milestone. By participating in IAPT-PK, PPHI Sindh reaffirms its commitment to expanding access to holistic healthcare services, addressing not only physical but also mental health needs of the population, and contributing to a healthier, more resilient Sindh.
