A review meeting regarding the takeover of newly notified health facilities was chaired by Worthy CEO PPHI Sindh, Mr. Javed Ali, Jagirani at the Meeting Hall of the District Office, Shaheed Benazirabad. Sir was accompanied by DHS-I Dr Zakir Punhar and Mr Mansoor Pahnwar Coordinator RHC PPHI H.O. The meeting was attended by the Regional Director RO-V Shaheed Benazirabad RO teams & DMs of RO 2.The meeting was also attended by Sir Mazhar Veesar, the Regional Director RO-II Mirpurkhas and along with his RO II Regional team.
The meeting focused on the takeover of new health facilities in pursuance of the Government of Sindh notification. District Managers of RO-V presented the comprehensive working, financial planning, HR arrangements, operational strategy, and detailed micro-plans prepared for the survey and takeover of health facilities from the District Health Offices (DHOs).
The CEO PPHI Sindh thoroughly reviewed all the Micro plans and detailed workings, providing valuable inputs on the survey and takeover process of health facilities (HFs). The detailed requirements for the survey, takeover, and operationalization of the health facilities were extensively discussed. The CEO appreciated the level of preparedness and generously approved the necessary suggestions and requests for both the current and future phases of implementation and operationalization of HFs.
Following the RO-V presentation, the Regional Director of RO-II Mirpurkhas presented the progress and preparedness of RO-II Mirpurkhas. The survey, takeover, operational planning, and resource requirements for the region were discussed in detail.
The Worthy CEO highly appreciated the efforts of the District Office Shaheed Benazirabad for successfully completing Phase-I and initiating the survey and takeover activities for Phase-II health facilities from the DHO Shaheed Benazirabad. He also encouraged the District Offices of Naushahro Feroze and Sanghar to continue effective planning and ensure the smooth takeover of health facilities within the timelines defined in their respective micro-plans.
In his concluding remarks, the Worthy CEO emphasized expediting all remaining activities to ensure the timely operationalization of the newly taken-over health facilities and the provision of quality healthcare services to the people of the respective catchment areas.
