A delegation from PPHI Sindh participated in a high-level consultative meeting
A delegation from PPHI Sindh participated in a high-level consultative meeting with representatives from The Aga Khan University (AKU) and international partners to support ongoing health financing and strategic purchasing reforms in Pakistan.
The PPHI Sindh team was led by Mr: Riaz Hussain Rahujo, Chief Operating Officer, Mr: Muhammad Yahya, Chief Financing Officer and included Ms Nelofer Baig, Deputy Director Research; and Dr Naima Niazi, Deputy Director Secondary Care.
The visiting team included Dr Zahid Memon, Associate Professor, Health Policy & Management, AKU; Kara Hanson, Professor of Health System Economics at London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM); and Viroj Tangcharoensathien, Senior Advisor, International Health Policy Program Foundation, Thailand.
The meeting emphasized collaborative engagement, shared learning, and evidence-based approaches to strengthen health system performance, institutional capacity, and service delivery across Sindh.
