A strategic meeting was held at the PPHI Sindh Head Office, chaired by CEO Mr. Javed Ali Jagirani, with a distinguished delegation from Aga Khan University (AKU), led by Dr. Faiza Jehan, Pediatrician & Dr. Imran Nisar, Vice-Chair, Department of Pediatrics and Child Health; and their team. Chair, Department of Medicine, AKU. The meeting focused on strengthening institutional collaboration and exploring opportunities to further improve primary healthcare delivery across both rural and urban areas of Sindh. During the meeting, the AKU team discussed several research proposals with PPHI and expressed their interest in seeking PPHI's support and coordination for the implementation of these research activities through PPHI's health facilities. The discussion will focus on exploring areas of collaboration, facilitating access to relevant health facilities, and establishing a mechanism for coordination between AKU and PPHI to support the proposed research initiatives.
