WHO formally handed over essential medicines, medical supplies and laboratory equipment to the GoS
The World Health Organization (WHO) formally handed over essential medicines, medical supplies and laboratory equipment to the Government of Sindh during a ceremony held in Karachi on 21 October 2026. The supplies were presented by Dr Dapeng Luo, WHO Representative in Pakistan, to Mr. Javed Ali Jagirani CEO-PPHI through Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho, Honorables Minister for Health and Population Welfare, Sindh, in the presence of Dr Mukhtiar Hussain Bhayo, Head of WHO Sindh office.
